Hatch, raise & earn on Robinhood Chain

Hoodmon is an on-chain creature game. Mint a mystery egg, raise what hatches, and earn $HOODMON and ETH rewards for keeping your creatures thriving.

01 What is Hoodmon

Collect, hatch, and raise digital creatures that live entirely on-chain — and get rewarded for caring for them.

Every Hoodmon starts as a mystery egg (an NFT). When it hatches you discover which creature you got — and how you raise it changes how it grows. Active, well-fed creatures earn points, and points convert into two real reward tracks: a daily $HOODMON stream and an end-of-season ETH pool.

🥚 Mint

Pay ETH to mint an egg. The species is a surprise until it hatches.

🍎 Raise

Feed and level your creature. Neglect it and its fullness — and points — decay.

🏆 Earn

Points earn $HOODMON daily and a share of the season ETH pool.

02 Getting started

You need an EVM wallet on Robinhood Chain and a little ETH for gas.

1

Install a wallet

Use MetaMask (or any injected EVM wallet). On hoodmon.com, click Connect and pick your wallet.

2

Add Robinhood Chain

The app prompts you to add / switch to Robinhood Chain automatically. To switch accounts later, use Change wallet in the wallet menu.

3

Get ETH for gas

Robinhood Chain uses ETH as its native gas token. You need a small amount to mint and to sign actions. Minting an egg also costs the mint price in ETH.

Tip. Your ETH balance and $HOODMON balance both show in the top-right of the game once connected. Use the refresh button to re-read them after a transaction.

03 Minting eggs

Mint one egg — or a batch — in a single flow. What's inside is a mystery.

  • Price: a fixed amount of ETH per egg (shown on the mint screen), plus gas.
  • Batch mint: choose a quantity (up to 10). A batch mints all your eggs in one transaction and one signature.
  • Mystery hatch: the species, character, and rarity are not predetermined and can't be predicted from the egg — they're revealed only after the mint is indexed.
  • Starter food: every egg comes with a small starter food pack so you can begin raising it right away.
Where does the mint fee go? Each mint is split automatically: 30% to the team, 35% to a reserve used to buy $HOODMON for the daily reward pool, and 35% straight into the season ETH reward pool that players claim at season end.

04 Raising your Hoodmon

Fullness is the heartbeat of the game. Keep it up, keep earning.

Each creature has a fullness meter that slowly decays over time. Fullness drives how many points the creature earns — a starving creature earns far less than a well-fed one. Feed it with food items to top the meter back up.

Stats

Creatures carry stats (satiety, vitality, growth rhythm, potential, and mining rates) that shape how efficiently they earn and how quickly they can evolve. Stats are shown on each creature's card in the farm.

Don't let it starve. Fullness decays whether you're online or not. A creature left at zero fullness contributes almost nothing to your daily points — check in and feed regularly.

05 Evolution

Egg → Baby → Growth → Final. Each stage is a step up — and the outcome is a surprise.

Creatures evolve through stages as they gain experience and level up. You can use candy items to push a level-up attempt at the current stage. Whether a level-up succeeds — and what form it takes — is not predetermined: two identical-looking eggs can grow into different creatures, so evolution stays a genuine surprise.

06 Points & mining

Points are your share of the rewards — earned by keeping creatures active and fed.

  • Every active creature earns points each day, scaled by its fullness and stats.
  • Your wallet's daily points are your share of that day's reward pool. Season points (summed across the season) are your share of the season ETH pool.
  • Splitting across many wallets gives no advantage — rewards are by point share, so one wallet with N creatures earns the same as N wallets with one creature each.

07 Rewards

Two tracks run in parallel: a daily $HOODMON stream and a season-end ETH pool.

🪙 Daily $HOODMON

Token deposits are vested across the remaining days of the season, so each day has its own pool. Your cut of a day's pool is your share of that day's points. Amounts are cumulative — you can claim several days at once.

💎 Season ETH

A single ETH pool (funded by 35% of every mint) is split at season end by your total season points. Claims open once the season closes.

Deposit vesting, briefly. If the team deposits, say, 14,000 $HOODMON on day 1 of a 14-day season, it vests as ~1,000 per day across all 14 days — not dumped into day 1. So depositing raises the pool for that day and every day after it.

08 Claiming

Claims are trustless: the contract verifies your reward against an on-chain root.

After each day settles, a Merkle root of everyone's rewards is published on-chain. When you claim, the app hands your wallet a small proof; the contract checks it against the published root and pays you. Because the reward leaf is bound to your address, no one can claim your rewards, and the server can't inflate them — the on-chain root is the source of truth.

  • Daily $HOODMON: becomes claimable a short window after each day closes (once that day's root is published).
  • Season ETH: becomes claimable after the season ends.
  • Cumulative: claiming pays out everything you're owed minus what you've already claimed — so it's safe to skip days and claim later.

Open the Reward Board in the game to see your claimable amounts and the per-day pools.

09 Item store

Spend $HOODMON on food to raise fullness and candy to push evolutions.

Prices are set on-chain and may be tuned over time. When you buy, part of the payment is burned, part funds the daily reward pool, and part goes to the team.

10 The $HOODMON token

$HOODMON is the in-game currency and daily reward token.

$HOODMON is a standard ERC-20 launched on NOXA Fun, Robinhood Chain's launchpad. It trades on a single-sided Uniswap V3 pool from launch (its liquidity is locked), so there's no presale and no team pre-mint — reward tokens are bought from the open market. You earn $HOODMON from daily rewards and spend it on food and candy.

11 FAQ

Can I predict what my egg will hatch into?

No. Species, character, rarity, and evolution outcomes are not predetermined and can't be read off the egg — hatching is a genuine surprise.

Why does my balance show 0 right after a transaction?

Balances are read from the chain; hit the refresh button in the top-right after your transaction confirms. Token transfers can take a few seconds to index.

I switched accounts in MetaMask but the game still shows the old one.

Use Change wallet in the wallet menu — it re-opens the account picker so you can pick a different account. Switching the active account inside MetaMask alone doesn't re-grant the site access.

Do I need to claim every day?

No. Rewards are cumulative, so you can let them build up and claim later — you'll receive everything you're owed minus what you've already taken.

Does holding more creatures in one wallet earn more than splitting them?

No. Rewards are by point share, so splitting across wallets gives no edge. Raise whatever you have well.

What happens if I let a creature starve?

Its fullness decays to zero and it earns almost no points until you feed it again. It isn't destroyed — feed it and it recovers.
